Finding the perfect ring to propose to my wife was a real journey. For months, I scoured a dozen boutiques and met with several jewelers, in search of something that not only sparkled, but also told a story. Unfortunately, the experience often turned out to be impersonal: cold windows, standardized presentations, and little room for the emotions I wanted to incorporate. I had the impression that this jewel, which symbolizes eternal love, was seen as a mere object.
